Welcome to the ClubHouse Thread for the 2009 All New Mountain Climbing Thread. The rules of this thread are simple... there is no room for negativity here at all... (There is a big burly bouncer at the door!) Optimism and Positivity are available by the bottle - at the bar - and free drink nights will be advertised here too. (The Bar Staff are also available for Christmas and New Year Parties!) -- The Expedition starts off at Mountain Base Throughout the trek progress will be monitored here, pointing out use of tools such as Protected Rankings and Wild Cards along the way - along with interesting points of interest - as and when they occur. -- May I be the first to wish all Fellow Expedition Followers very Happy Holidays!!!!!! Sounds fun, it would seem that Mariano had fellow climbers going along with him like a coach or trainer.

Hi.. I have taken a bit of a move on the message board and deleted some threads. The reason I have done this is because I dont want this board to become a pressure cooker. I think - for this year - 2009 - can we please be informal! - not too many "official scarey threads" - just have the "Mountain Climbing Thread" "Mariano News of course!" and of course of course Corina's Tenis Pro Thread - for example - and similar new threads like these are more than welcome..... We have a unique set-up here and think it should stay this way... Lets just enjoy the tournaments that have interesting draws. Please read between the lines here People. (sorry Greg - but hey you can be "formal" on MTF ) This is just how I would like things to go for the start of the year.... (I know no news....... ) - but want to keep a nice happy positive spirit flowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Free "Optimism" Drinks available at the Bar!!!!)

No problem, now that I think of it, it will be easier for Mariano to slip back into playing if he has little pressure and a relaxed group of fans here.

Greg - I just knew you would reply saying this - who would you prefer to believe? MTF Posters? ? hehe.... (side note - please dont copy posts from here to MTF - the people on MTF know this board exists - and are very very very welcome here.... MTF = big "city" type of board this board = specialist community "village" .... - thanks )

Mariano, I'd have a humble personal wish: First beat Rogélio and then please slam Pashanski (If you don't beat Rogélio, it's his task to slam Pashanski in case Burzi doesn't do the job.

Welcome to the ClubHouse Thread for the 2009 All New Mountain Climbing Thread. The rules of this thread are simple... there is no room for negativity here at all... (There is a big burly bouncer at the door!) Hi Jelena... unfortunately the Big Burly Bouncer called me into his office and made me read his rule book... (Section 9, Paragraph 7, sub-section 3, line 4) (it was a big book!) - unfortunately - he pointed out that Your Friend Boris is also protected in these rules - (all for one and one for all!!) Hey at least he's earning his salary! But on a positive note - I am sure that the relevant actions required will be noted

Sorry, but Boris may be by a half my compatriot, but he is really NOT my friend. Mariano is by far a better friend than Boris will ever be....
