Boris took set one 3-6 Mariano is leading 4-1 in the second!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VIDEO FEED!! www.cormudesi.cl/TarapacaTV.htmlMariano takes the set 6-1 (thank you to William on the Scoreboard Site for providing the TV feed link!!) Down a break in the third and being "very animated!" but its great to really see him on court!!! 1-5 down - Mariano breaks back to 2-5 There's so much positivity in this match - despite the scoreline Mariano also nearly broke back again! - very nearly! - as I said this match showed lots of fighting back Sorry Mariano We did not see the last point - as Lucas decided to (accidently!!!) turn the computer off at that moment... - amazing timing that child!!! - he did do lots of cheering for you though!!! congrats on a great return this week - looking forward to more!

I am impressed, even live stream for this tournament Unfortunately I missed the whole match, but it's a positive result and M showed lots of fighting spirit. I think this was a good tournament for Mariano, he got match practice and he is fit. Next week can come

Thanks Jelena - but I have a better position... 1140 - Zabaleta, Mariano (ARG) 10 -1 2 Maybe I should have mentioned in the first post - I wasnt going to post ranking positions here (until they actually mean something) as they may add to the pressure cooker (I know what I mean.... ) We all know what he's real ranking should be - but if the "computer" wants him to be there - then fine - Wild Cards and Protections (+/- 174) and friendly Tournament Directors will be the keys this year - and lots of support from us if we can get there in person too

The actual result of this weeks "Mountain Climbing" is really big He got back on Court again, Played 2 Official Matches And Won one !!! (in straight sets too!) And made lots of people in Internet-Land (not just here) very happy indeed Message for Mariano... Its great you were coaching Monaco last year Its great you were considered for Joint-DC Captain - but for 2009 at least - I think you are best playing Official matches again - its where you belong - (coaching and DC Captains will have to wait a bit longer for you!!!) best wishes Louise

Did anyone find the end result?
I could not follow the match, but what I know is that according to MTF M lost the first set 0-6, won the second 6-4 and reached the tiebreak in the third when the scoreboard was frozen... I so hope Mariano won that match. My heart was already broken once today (after the Australian Open final), so I hope it wont happen a second time.

Ahhhhh, thanks Louise for the news And thank you Mariano. I had one of my sadest and most heartbroken tennis moments after watching a tennis match on tv today, so you saved my day with your win So, does Mariano have to win another match or is he qualified?

AHH! I hate the score board, you come back from somewhere and the match goes away and is not under the results! Did Mariano win or lose?
