hello friends i came back from RG i saw on the court number 16 augustin calleri and mardy fish ;D ;D i wanted to remember me all good things last year with mariano and augustin and i want to say just one thing come back mariano please the us player won in four set after that i watched the match with juanqui chela he won in five sets with the giant us player isner next round fernando verdasco!! difficult round for chelita after i saw the beginning of eduardo schwank match ;D ah gordo schwank he's my smile of this RG 2008 he 's a fighter as mariano and he looks like him when i left the court number five the scoare was two sets to one for gordo but granollers is a very goo player too

and schwank won in four sets but i 'm just seeing one thing du you remenber of odesnik? yes it was this player that mariano beat in the secound round of the qualies last year odesnik is on the third round you see mariano you have your place again in the secound week of RG ;D

I am not a big fan of Calleri or Granollers but I love Schwank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when mariano is having this leap year does it mean that he might play like 1 or 2 more tourneys or should we not even bother to look on any entry lists for his name like if there was a challenger in buenos aires would he play it or is he totally out for 2008

Hi Everyone...

Gaston and Mariano are not playing at the moment.... they are on a break... this has been stated several places all over the internet.

They have both said quite clearly they are not retiring - like Justine Henin did - but they are taking a break.

They will be back when they are ready - and I am sure the Argentinian Press will let everyone know when that day happens.

Let them enjoy their break

Yes Mariano's good freind Pico played doubles with luis horna in houston he is a very nice guy also i stood in front of cuevas when he played ryan harrison i played the net he never gets mad at the ball kids (the ones i am in charge of) not like some people do cough cough clement
