Hello everyone!!!
My name is Lucas and I am the youngest Extreme Tennis Fan on this board. I am 2.5 months old. I am also an Exellent Typist!!
On March 6th My Mum and Dad put me on a wierd bird thing, they were terrified I was going to scream the place down, but hey I am an angel - I don't do screaming!! - everyone loved me... I was so good... I dropped something, the nice man next to mummy picked it up... the nice ladies in the red dresses kept coming up and cuddling me, i had a great time!!! I was perfect!!!
Then after about 11.5 hours of being an angel we were all stuck in a hot stuffy room in a queue for 2.5 hours... I decided I had had enough, and decided to cry. It was something called Passport Control in LA.
Eventually we got to a lovely hotel room in somewhere called Palm Desert, Indian Wells, California America. Cool!!
Breakfast the next morning was nice. Mummy and Daddy carried me down and made me comfy allowing me to watch the world go round. There was a really pretty blond girl looking at me... Daddy said... her name was Elena Dementieva. Another tall Man looked at me a couple of times, Mummy said his name was Marat Safin. According to Mummy and Daddy, these two people are really popular tennis players. WOW my first famous people!!
Mummy introduced me to her friend Jeff. He was really nice and wanted to know all about me... so that was cool, and later on, Mummy was sitting in the lobby, and reading the paper (covering me up!!!) and another person called Paradorn Srichaphan came over to talk to her!!! - she moved the paper and he saw me! - he's such a nice person.
On Tuesday, Mum and Dad took me to the Tennis Stadium for the first time. Mum was a bit scared, she has not passed her buggy driving test yet - this was one of the big tests for her... she was excellent!!!
The first person we rode into was a lady called Sara Vickery. Mum and Dad had told me all about her (she has been travelling all over the world since January!! since nearly my whole life!!) she saw me - and fell in love with me instantly!
I was parked on a green later that afternoon, and was introduced to lots of interesting people. At 4pm in the afternoon someone called Guillermo Canas was seen. Apparently this meant that the Complete Argentinian Davis Cup Team had arrived.
At 6pm... Mummy spotted her favourite player. He was running around on the green with his team. I recognised him from the TV screen when Daddy showed him to me at the Australian Open. When I saw him on TV he was wearing Orange. He was wearing blue this time.
Some lovely Italians were in our group and I was being cuddled by Davide's mum (Davide is an LTA coach) and by 7pm we all moved to watch Mariano and Juan Monaco practice on a court.
Sorry but all this typing has made me very hungry!!! - to be continued after dinner!!!
