Federer just beat Henmen 6-4 6-2. This makes me even more proud of how Mariano played his match against 'the great one'. ;D I had the privilege of watching the Zabaleta - Federer match from right on the stadium court literally as I was a volunteer at the Nasdaq-100 tennis open. My post for that game was the entry and exit way for the players. What a fanastic match it was. I also had the pleasure of watching Mariano play Muller and Paradon from the front row where he played equally wonderfully - but the way he played against Federer was magical and I honestly felt he could have taken the match from him. After the Federer match I also had the pleasure in speaking to Mariano and congratulating him on a match well played, at that point I mention to him about this website and that he should know that he has a very wonderful and strong fan base cheering him on at every tournament he enters - he told me he had heard that from someone but had never checked it out, but said he should now since I spoke so fondly of all of your support. During our conversation I made a comment about him banging his racket down in the first set and asked him if it broke and he said yes and asked me if I wanted it and that he has never given anyone his racket before - I gladly said yes - so I am now the proud owner of Mariano Zabaleta's personal racket which he actually played with!! - I will definitely be showing it off around my tennis club. To sum it all up Well Done Mariano - we are all very proud of you!!

Louise, please don't be upset. I think what you are doing is great and I'm sure he would appreciate it very much. Besides it's a great place for all his fans to come together and apparently many great friends were made because of your website. I think you should be commended for it.
I'm sure with all the touring, it must be difficult for him to check it out.
No, you are not acting like a ** teenager but a wonderful fan, like the rest of us. I'm sorry what I thought was good news has upset you, please feel better and continue to do the great things you do here, I don't think we could stand to live without it.
Sincerely, Maria
