Mariano's next event will be the Meknes Challenger (1.) There has been lost of confusion about this challenger. It was originally set in "Week 11" but moves to "Week 12." It replaces the Tanger, Morocco Challenger that week. The field is very nice. The ranking "Cut-Off" was at 195. The ranking "Cut-Off" date was Monday, February 25th, 2008. Guillermo Coria and Gaston Gauido were announced to play here, so it will be a very exciting challenger.

I have no idea...

but there could be lots of reasons...

But Gaudio is out too.... and I've had a look around "GaudioLand" but I haven't got a valid live visa or map to point to places of "interest" that may hold missing clues... (just kidding.... Reiko, Corina etc will understand... and may have answers too....)

Meknes is a new tournament... there could be 10000s of reasons - and the withdrawl happened Thursday - before the cut-off of Friday so... this looks to me as if it was planned.
