Paul Bettany and Kirstin Dunst were at their Premiere of their film "Wimbledon" in London last night.
This is Paul Bettany's quote.
London-born Bettany, 33, arrived with his American actress wife Jennifer Connelly.
Wearing a navy pinstripe suit, he admitted:
"I was nervous about having to look like a tennis player. They hit the ball really hard, they move beautifully, their bodies are so well organised. It's like saying I'd like to play Rudolf Nureyev, how long do I have to do it?"
(we saw him filming in Monte Carlo "looking like a tennis player.... - he looked ok...) - (he also played "Geof" in A Knight's tale... I love that film!)

That was a sweet quote. Although I might argue with the "they move beautifully bit". Some do, of course, but some...

This isn't about the "Wimbledon" movie (which unfortunately still hasn't made it in our movie theaters yet ), but I thought I could share some words about a very nice film I went to see tonight with my friends. I am referring to the movie "Diarios de motociclita". Anyone saw it? Maybe the Argentine posters here? It is a roadmovie-drama about two young Argentine guys, 23 old medical student Ernesto Guevara and his buddy, who travel through South America (Argentina, Chile, Peru) by motorcycle in 1952. The movie is based on Che Guevara's original trip journal. The film is not really about "Che", the revolutionary, but more about a happy boy who, while travelling, grows into man who discovers the injustices of the world. The first part of the film is very funny, basically it shows the two good friends having fun on the road, flirting with the beauties of the different villages, partying, etc... The second part is more serious. The attention is drawn on the inkas, their problems and suffering. I don't know if this film is 100% political correct, but what is impressiv about is the BREATH-TAKING scenery!!! Just amazingly beautiful !!! My "hermanita" was in Peru early this year and I have seen tons of pics of Machu Pichu, but seeing it on the big screen is even more impressive! Very beautiful! And of course it is lovely to see Buenos Aires and other parts of Argentina, too ! I WANT TO GO TO SOUTH AMERICA!!! Hearing two hours Argentine Spanish was really cool as well, lots of "vos", "podes" and "che"s Anyway, I really would recommend this film to everyone who is interested in South America and its culture, which I think are most of us here ! p.s.: The main actor doesn't look too bad either, I may add !

Hi Corina! I haven't seen the movie, but I think I'm going to rent it soon... The commentaries about the movie were great. The main actor is mexican actually... he made some movies with Almodovar and learned here to speak "argentinian" with the correct tones and expressions (really cute). Che's friend is argentine and the director is brazilian (a great latin american union!). El Che was born in Rosario, the 2nd city of Argentina, so I think that they begin the journey from there. Anyway, Corina, you know who you can count if you decide to visit us... Mercedes p/d: the correct tittle is "Diarios de Motocicleta"

Thanks for the infos Mercedes. Yes, I heard the main actor is Mexican and that he already is a super star in Latin America ! I guess I need to keep an eye on his next movies.... I remember reading that the director also did "Central Station". This was another great movie! Nope, sorry the trip started in Buenos Aires, it was written on the screen.... Maybe they changed this for the film, don't know Thanks for your offer Mercedes, it is much appreciated . We have planned to make a trip through South Amercia in about 3-4 years, after we have all graduated and earned the necessary money for the trip. So, hopefully this dream comes true!
