Hi everybody!
This is my very first post to your board 'cause I've registered only a few days ago. And I first of all want to thank you for all the informations I've learnt about one of Argentina's best tennis player. My favourite one I must admit, equal to Gaudio... And I'm really surprised to read that Mariano's gonna play in Lyon. Okay, I've forgotten to tell I'm french... It's a real pleasure to see him in France once again beside Roland Garros and Paris Bercy. Just too bad I won't be able to go to Lyon 'cause of my work. But best wishes to him and good luck. Go for it!

Welcome Choupi and Spiderman to this board... I'm from Argentina and I'm glad that you both are Mariano's fan and decided to join us... And also, would like to ask Choupi and Daussyk a favor: could you write next posts in English, as I don't know French and would love to be able to read all the posts. Thank you very much for understanding.

Forgot something....
Daussyk, I think it is not fair and not very tasteful to say negative things about people who post here in a language not everyone understands. This is a wonderful msg board and a home of lovely persons, so let's respect each other. Thanks.

Hi Choupi - welcome to the board!!!
Ok... Lyon....
I hate to be a devil's advocate here... but I don't think he's going.
IF I am wrong, then I apologise.
This morning - Mariano was on the official list for Lyon. This afternoon - Tim has been added to the Forfait list - and Mariano has dissappeared. Although I have an excellent idea of where he may be (hehehehe!)

As Mariano not playing Lyon, that wouldn't surprise me as long as he can play the rest of the season and find a coach that can help him.
Daus, it's alright I know you are hardly ever happy with Mariano and his game, and don't be mad that GWH called you out on some of your comments. You never know you could learn something from them.
This is a happy board and what Corinna said was right about the respect factor.
Moselle is in the eastern part of France I think. I know Metz has a tournament and that town is not far away from that region.

Hello everybody.
Ok, I want to apologise for writing in French. I knew that some of you would not understand but it was such a happy surprise for me to read french words. I had only read english or spanish till then . Mercedes, I'm sorry. I know exactly how you felt 'cause I don't understand a d**n word in spanish so... But I promise, I'll never do it again. Corina, for your information, as you seem to be interested, Moselle is in north east of France, close to Germany. I could write in german if someone's interested...That was a joke. I live near the german border, not far from Metz. Louise, you seem to have information I don't know. Isn't Mariano playing in Lyon? I've two different information . Please, help me clear this. Where else can he be? Corina, I think Daussyk didn't mean anything wrong or irrespectful . It's just sense of humour. I hope so... That's all folks.

Hi Choupi Thanks for your info re: Moselle. I know Metz, but haven't heard from Moselle before. Looks like we are living close to each other.... I am Swiss, btw, living in Zurich. It's great that we have so many languages covered here on this board Daussy... I am sorry that I overrecated a bit. Didn't want to offend you. I am glad you are still around here to support Mariano. L, did you have a sleepless night? Strange time to post. Hope you are okay!!

Corina, I didn't know you live in Zurich. We are indeed very close to each other. I've got friends who are much interested in Swiss chocolate! Maybe you could do something for them... Still french touch of humour, sorry for those who don't appreciate... More info about Moselle. This is not a town, it's a region. Will you go to Basel?

Am I the only one to be shocked by this? I've registered on this board because I thought it was a very good one, well informed, welcoming every new member so nicely. But I just can't help thinking Polly and Cathy have not understood the real subject of this board, or is it me? Of course Mariano's very handsome but what is the most important for you? His goodlooking or his playing such a good tennis? My choice is simple. I'm a fan of tennis and that's what matters to me. I apologise if I hurt somebody in writing this but I had to do it. I'm shocked.

Hi Spiderman I think (hope) he may go to qualies for these two tournaments. I heard a rumour he's going to Madrid. The cut-off for the TMS is 30 something and the cut-off for qualies is 70 something. Kitzfan, Egg and I have planned an "injured list" to allow him to gain direct acceptance - hahaha - and its looking good at the moment Is anyone else here planning to go to either Madrid or Paris>

Hi gang! I leave the place for 5 days, and look what happens?! But I like it when it's busy here. That is good busy, of course! Louise and GWH, how long did you chat on Sunday? Just curious. I had a VERY sleepy Monday. Louise, mind you, I had nothing to do with your Madrid list! I just enjoyed it! Oh, and as far as I remember, people were not left out as injured. They were left out for different reasons! (Choupi might not approve some of them. Oh, I forgot to welcome you to the board! WELCOME!!!! So many new people... And some familiar names. Anyway, at the moment I can't really joke about people NOT going to certain tournaments, as I have my own worries... I hope everybody is doing well. At least it's the weekend now! So have a good one! Cheers, egg from the land of langos

I think there are LOADS of different reasons to follow Mariano's career On a serious note, I hope M returns to Europe for Vienna where he doesn't have to qualify. I miss following his matches Welcome back Egg... Hope you had a nice week !!! Haha, I like it when people fight for me (or better for Swiss chocolate . I am sure we will figure out something to satisfy everyone Oh and Moselle is a region?? What's the German word for it? Geography has never been my favourite subject . And yes, I hope I can make it to Basel and that Mariano will play there. Fingers crossed!

Hi everybody. Corina or should I say "swiss chocolate supplier in chief"? I think the german word for Moselle is Mösel. Metz is the main town of this region. I hope it helps you situating me. Polly and Cathy, I must explain why I reacted the way I did after your first message. You know, I spent much time reading all the messages from this board before making the decision to register, because I wanted to know what it really was about, who were the people writing there and the reasons why they do so. And I never read anything concerning such a private detail as M's girlfriend. I was shocked because it was your first message, because not knowing who he was and just with a picture, you asked such a question. I hope I didn't bother you too much with my reaction but sorry, that's just the way I am... Of course I don't blame you for not knowing who he was, just because I remember there was a time when I didn't know him either! I've learnt many interesting thinks thanks to those writing here for a long time. I just hope it'll be the same for you. I've never had the chance to see M. on a tennis court but I saw many matches on TV. OK, that's all for today. Bye
